This syno... Sources Sought Notice Imaging Unit This SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE. 2020-SS95. The purpose of this sources sought notice is to determine the interest and feasibility of small business set-asides. This synopsis is for information and planning purposes and is not to be construed as a commitment by the U.S. Government, nor will the U.S. Government pay for information solicited. The information from this notice will help the United States Department of Agriculture, USDA, Animal Plant Inspection Services, APHIS, National Veterinary Services Laboratory, NVSL, Ames, Iowa plan their acquisition strategy or plan. PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL, NO SOLICITATION EXISTS AT THIS TIME. Specifications/Must Have: 100 cage frames and screens, 7’x7’x20’ assembled. All dimensions shall match those on the attached drawing. Vendor shall provide mockup and samples of one fitting and one short (24 inches) piece of pipe for inspection by Plant Introduction Personnel prior to acceptance of offer. Pipe and fittings must be compatible with existing equipment. Zippers: 60” Brass zipper on each end of cage screen Zipper pull at bottom when closed Start 4” below the top of the screen Fittings: Galvanized Electrical Metallic Tubing, Trade Size 1.25" O.D. 1.5" I.D. 1.38" Wall thickness 0.065" All welds to be painted with galvanized paint to prevent corrosion. Frame Piping: ANSI Galvanized 1" Steel pipe, schedule 5 O.D. 1.315 Wall thickness 0.065" Screen: Fitted style with flap and 60” brass zipper on each end. Screen material and flaps shall be 20 x 20 mesh, natural color, UV treated, including the thread. Flaps will be made of screen material, not vinyl. All corners will be reinforced with vinyl. Dimensions shall allow for ease in fitting over frame and allow for normal shrinkage. Please submit the following information: Name and address of company 2.
