Project: Chiller #7 Condensate Heat Exchanger Repair/Replacement. 2020-SS38 GENERAL INFORMATION 1.0 Scope of Work Repair/Replace condensate heat exchanger on Chiller #7 2.0 Background: Chiller #7 at the USDA NCAH (Trane manufacturer, model number ABTF1050, Serial Number: L06G03556 has a bad condensate heat exchanger (Part number: (Trane EXC01599) causing it to not operate at all. CONTRACTOR REQUIREMENTS 3.0 Technical Requirements/Tasks: To repair/replace the leaking condensate heat exchanger on Chiller #7. This includes the following scope of work; Replace the condensate heat exchanger on Chiller #7 Lock out unit Push bromide out and store in customers containers (nitrogen provided by owner) Remove failed condensate heat exchanger for disposal Provide and replace condensate heat exchanger with OEM part and make up piping and welding in place Leak check chiller (nitrogen provided by owner) Evacuate and pull in bromide removed Log and trim machine with removed bromide (no additional chemicals or bromide included) Pull bromide sample for lab analysis Return to normal service 4.0 Deliverables / Schedule: The repairs will be completed and the chiller will have been tested and made ready for normal service by 4/15/2020.
