The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Farm Production and Conservation (FPAC) requires Professional pruning (over hanging and dead branches), under the direct supervision of a demonstrably qualified International Society of Arboriculture (ISA) Certified Arborist, and Professional removal (felling) of designated trees at the NYPMC. The primary objective of this work is to mitigate potential hazards to people and property resulting from falling trees or tree parts that may be created by the trees listed. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and Solicitation of Commercial Items and FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ) and the acquisition procedures at FAR Parts 12 and 13 are being utilized. The Government anticipates issuing a firm fixed priced award. Award will be made to the responsible offeror whose quote responds to the terms of the RFQ and is the Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) offer to the government. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2023-4 effective June 2, 2023.
