This is synopsis is ONLY A NOTIFICATION that a solicitation will be issued. CONTRACT INFORMATION: This announcement is total small business acquisition to provide Remedial Repair, Nacogdoches County, Texas. Total Small Business set-aside. Place of Performance: Nacogdoches County, Texas The North American Industrial Classification System code is 237990, which has a size standard of $45 million. A firm-fixed-price contract is anticipated under sealed bidding procedures FAR Part 14. The contract is anticipated to be awarded in April 2023. To be eligible for contract award, a firm must be registered with the System for Award Management (SAM) database. Register via the SAM Internet site at https://www.sam.gov/. No state level certifications will be accepted. PROJECT INFORMATION: The estimated magnitude for this firm fixed price construction contract is between $100,000 and $250,000. Repair a leak that was discovered in the reinforced concrete riser of Attoyac Bayou Watershed Floodwater Retarding Structure Site No. 21, near Appleby, in Nacogdoches County, Texas. The remedial repair will consist of dewatering the reservoir, inspecting the riser, and riser scour apron and removing and replacing all low-density areas of concrete by saw cutting, forming, and patching with bonding mortar, dry pack mortar, low shrink grout, or shotcrete depending upon the size of each repair area discovered. The estimated solicitation issue date for solicitation 12FPC323B0002 is March 2023. Proposals are anticipated to be due approximately 30 days from issuance of the solicitation. A site visit will be held, the details of which will be included with the release of the solicitation.
