The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Farm Production and Conservation – Acquisition Division intends to issue a Request for Bids (RFB) in accordance with FAR Part 14 on behalf of the USDA - Natural Resource Conservation Service (NRCS) for the Attoyac Bayou Site 21 Remedial Repairs in Nacogdoches County, Texas. The focus of the project is to repair several leaks and holes in the interior concrete walls of the inlet riser. The Solicitation will be a Total Small Business set-aside. Interested contractors must be registered in and must complete the annual representations and certifications electronically via the System for Award Management (SAM) at http://www.sam.gov in order to be eligible for award. The full solicitation package will be posted and available from this website on or around February 28, 2022. A firm fixed price construction contract is anticipated under Simplified Acquisition Procedures in FAR Part 13. A bid bond in the amount of 20% of the bid price is required to be submitted with bids. Bids and bid guarantees may only be submitted electronically due to COVID-19 restrictions. A formal bid opening will be held virtually; information for which will be published with the solicitation A Payment Bond (SF-25A), in the amount of 100% of the project cost will be required within 10 calendar days of award of the contract. The anticipated period of performance for this project is 95 calendar days from the date the contractor receives the Notice to Proceed (NTP).
