Notice Type: Presolicitation Solicitation Number: 12FPC322B0014 Synopsis: The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Farm Production and Conservation – Acquisition and Procurement Division intends to issue an Invitation for Bid (IFB) in accordance with FAR Part 14 on behalf of the USDA - Natural Resource Conservation Service (NRCS) for replacing roofing shingles and gutters on buildings 195B and 195E at the Washington Plant Materials Center Whitman County, WA. The solicitation is a small business set aside. Interested contractors must be registered in and must complete the annual representations and certifications electronically via the System for Award Management (SAM) at http://www.sam.gov in order to be eligible for award. The full solicitation package including scope of work, construction wage determination, and information on the site visit will be posted and available from this website on or about July 22, 2022. A firm fixed price construction contract is anticipated under the sealed bidding procedures in FAR Part 14. A bid guarantee, in the amount of 20% of the bid, is required to be submitted with each bid. Sureties should use SF-24 Bid Bond form. Performance (SF-25) and Payment (SF-25A) Bonds, in the amount of 100% will be required within 10 calendar days of award of the contract. The anticipated period of performance for this project is 90 calendar days from the date the contractor receives the Notice to Proceed (NTP). In accordance with FAR 36.204, the estimated magnitude of the project is between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00.
