The work will consist of construction of wetland restoration that includes the following items: mobilization & demobilization, clearing & grubbing, Earth filling, excavation, seeding, and mulching. The solicitation will be a Total Small Business set-aside. Interested contractors must be registered in and must complete the annual representations and certifications electronically via the System Award Management (SAM) at http://www.sam.gov in order to be eligible for award. A site showing has been scheduled for July 22, 2021 at 9:00 am Central Time. Participants will meet at Lions Park, 229 W. Carlinville St., White Hall, IL 62092. A firm fixed price construction contract is anticipated under Simplified Acquisition procedures in FAR Part 13 and FAR 36 will apply. Request for Quotes are being solicited, and can be supplied via email or carrier of your choice. Award will be made to the responsible offeror representing the best value to the government. An alternative form of payment protection will be required agter award in the form of either a Payment Bond (SF-25A) or an Irrevocable Letter of Credit (ILC), in the amount of 100% will be required within 10 calendar days of award of the contract. The anticipated period of performance for this project is 18 calendar days from the date the contractor receives the Notice to Proceed (NTP).
