Delaney Multipurpose Complex Brook (Delaney Complex) is a multipurpose dam located in the Towns of Bolton, Harvard and Stow, Massachusetts. The dam’s primary purpose is flood control, with recreation and fish and wildlife as secondary purposes. This dam was built in 1971 as a high hazard structure, the hazard class is currently high. At the present time, the dam does not meet the current dam safety and performance standards. The Sponsors’ objective is to continue to provide 100-year flood protection in a manner that reduces risk of loss of human life and is both cost-effective and environmentally acceptable. The objective of this project is to address the comments from the NRCS National Watershed Management Center (NWMC) on the draft Supplemental Watershed Plan No. 11 & Environmental Assessment for Rehabilitation of the Delaney Multipurpose Complex (EA) and to prepare and deliver the Final Supplemental Watershed Plan No. 11 & Environmental Assessment for Rehabilitation of the Delaney Multipurpose Complex. The work shall consist of all actions necessary to complete the planning-level engineering and environmental analyses needed to support NRCS development of a rehabilitation plan for the Delaney Complex.
