The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Farm Production and Conservation - Acquisition Division is issuing an Invitatino for Bids (IFB) in accordance with FAR PAR 14 on behalf of the USDA - Natural Resource Conservation Service (NRCS) for ACEP-WRE Construction Project in Woodson County, Kansas. The work consists of construction of wetland restoration that includes the following items: mobilization, staking, clearing & grubbing, excavation, and filling. The solicitation is a Total Small Business set-aside. Interested contractors must be registered in and must complete the annual representations and certifications electronically via the System for Award Management (SAM) at http://www.sam.gov in order to be eligible for award. An organized site visit has been scheduled for Thursday, April 08, 2021 at 10:00 AM CST. Participants will meet at the corner intersection of Xylan Rd and 80th Rd leading up to the North & South Easements. A firm fixed price construction contract is anticipated under FAR Part 14, Sealed Bidding. A bid guarantee (SF-24), in the amount of 20% of the bid, is required to be submitted with each bid. Performance (SF-25) and Payment (SF-25A) Bonds, in the amount of 100% will be required from the successful bidder within 10 calendar days of award of contract. The anticipated period of performance for this project is 100 calendar days from the date the contractor receives the Notice to Proceed (NTP). In accordance with FAR 36.204, the estimated magnitude of the projects is between $100,000 and $250,000.00.
