The USDA Natural Resources Conservation Services (NRCS) has a requirement for the installation of custom flatbeds that incorporate pre-purchased soil probes and toolboxes on 2021 Ford F350 pick up trucks. These vehicle modifications are designed to support the field offices for various tasks. This sources sought notice is for information purposes only to determine the feasibility and availability of these types of vehicle modifications in the commercial marketplace. The USDA is requesting that interested contractors identify themselves in order to assist the Government with availability to perform and execute these services per the attached Scope of Work (SOW). In responding to this notice, identify the location where the services will take place. The USDA will provide a question and answer period for the sources sought, to better assist the interested contractors. The Government will allow four (4) working days for interested vendors to submit questions pertaining to this notice. Once the four (4) day period for questions has concluded, the Government will combine all questions and submit to the requiring activity for appropriate responses. All answers to those questions will be posted as an amendment to this notice within three (3) working days of the completion date of the question period. Interested contractors are to submit any/all questions via electronic mail (email) to contracting personnel only as identified below. Any vendors interested in this acquisition, please provide your company information to include CAGE code, GSA contract number (if applicable), address and point of contact with phone number. All photos attached to the SOW are for reference only and are not indicative to any specific manufacturer. USDA thanks for your support and your interest in this requirement. The four (4) day question period begins at 7:00am CST on Monday, February 8th and ends at 3:00pm CST on Thursday, February 11th. All questions shall be submitted in an editable format such as Microsoft ® Word in order to be compatible with Government systems. Ensure to include the Contracting Officer (Mr. Heid) on any correspondence submitted to the Contract Specialist (Ms. Johnson) regarding this noice.
