Amendment 0002 Here is the question: Our supplier is working on the quote for you and got a question can you please tell me what you’re looking for when you’re asking “Handheld mounting brackets and all associated hardware for each receiver” Can you be a little more specific. What will they be mounting on meaning a pole, backpack or vehicle. Please see PDF attached (Handheld GPS System Amendment 0001- ND NRCS would like a GNSS device that meets or exceeds all the requirements listed in the Statement of Work. We require a lightweight, sub-meter receiver that has excellent battery life. This is due to the harsh climate, long distances and rugged nature of our field work. No specific brand is requested, but there are only a handful of devices that will meet spec. North Dakota NRCS is looking to replace our aging GPS units with more modern technology. We are looking for a lightweight GPS/GNSS standalone receiver that can Bluetooth into our existing iPhone and Android devices. We will be using ESRI’s Field Maps application to capture the data and save to our cloud portals. These new receivers will be used in a wide variety of outdoor conditions hence the rugged device requirements. This receiver will be a huge shift from our current GPS workflow. We will require On-Site setup and training to get staff up to speed.
