U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), Farm Production and Conservation Business Center (FPAC-BC), National Resource Conservation Service (NRCS) Nebraska State Office, Engineering Section, has a need to purchase four (4) Intuicom “Bridge-X” GPS surveying devices. The devices are cellular radio modems that are configured to utilize a Network Real Time Kinematic (Network RTK) subscription service to provide GPS position data that is immediately “corrected” (geo-referenced), in real time, to match Light Detection and Ranging (LiDAR) ground surface positions. This “on-the-fly” capability results in significant time savings for field staff, fewer survey processing errors, and enhanced field layout productivity.
