Major items of work are as follows: Mobilization and Demobilization, Excavation, Silt Fence, and Seeding. The duration of the contract is 99 calendar days from the Notice to Proceed. Any contract resulting from this solicitation will be a firm fixed price contract. The North American Industry Classification (NAICS) for this acquisition is 237990 and the size standard is $36.5 million. This solicitation is issued as a total Small Business Set-Aside. The magnitude of proposed construction is between $25,000 and $100,000. A site visit will be held on July 16, 2019 at 10:00 AM at Red Lion Café, 697 Deturksville Road, Pine Grove, PA 17963. Please meet on the east side of the parking lot in the gravel area. Quotes are due by 2:00 PM, July 26, 2019. Quotes shall be emailed to the Contracting Officer at gay.mullen@wdc.usda.gov. Please include the solicitation number in the subject line. A Notice to Proceed is expected to be issued on or about August 5, 2019 with construction to begin within 10 days of issuance. The Davis-Bacon Act Wage Determination No. PA2019000 dated June 14, 2019 applies. Notification of any changes to this solicitation (amendments) shall be made only to the internet.
