The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Farm Production and Conservation Business Center (FPAC-BC) is seeking to purchase 18 metal carts/racks and acrylic boxes, all of which will be required to be fabricated by the Contractor. These carts and boxes will be used for demonstrations to teach farmers, ranchers, students and the general public about soil health and the importance of using proper soil management principles and techniques. The information will assist producers in making sound decisions related to cropping, gardening and livestock production and how these all affect our number one natural resource, soil. This project will consist of a total of 72 individual clear acrylic boxes with fabric material sleeves on each box to cover the root boxes when not displayed; 18 fabricated metal racks, or movable carts, with rolling/locking casters for display and transport.
