This project is being advertised for full and open competition. This acquisition has been tailored to fit the Governments need for trading goods for services. The Peck Rd Hazard Tree Project is located on the Bass Lake Ranger District of the Sierra National Forest. The Project area is approximately 305 acres and includes felling, skidding and removal of roadside hazards along Forest Service road 8S09. The project includes removal of approximately 1,402 CCF of Sawtimber and 3,721 CCF of Biomass/Cull Logs along with road maintenance. Project Location - The Peck Rd Hazard Tree project is located in the Whiskey Fall recreation area. The legal description is T7S R23E., Section: 22, 27, 28, 33, 34 and T8S R23E., Section: 3 of the Mount Diablo Base Meridian. The solicitation package was uploaded on June 25th, 2020. The date of award is expected to be within 60 days after the actual response date, which is be stated in the package and is subject to change with amendments to the solicitation. The contractors are encouraged to visit the site prior to the response date. A prebid meeting on site is scheduled for 06/29/2020, meeting 9:00 am at the USFS Bass Lake Ranger District Office.
