The site visit will now be held on July 29, 2020 meeting at the Almanor Ranger District at 9:00 am. The solicitation and any resultant contract will be a stewardship project as authorized in accordance with Section 8205 of Public Law 113-79, the Agricultural Act of 2014 as amended under Section 204 & 207 of the Consolidated Appropriations Act (Omnibus Bill 2018). This project is being advertised for full and open competition. This acquisition has been tailored to fit the Governments need for trading goods for services. The Bandit Project is located on the Almanor Ranger District on the Lassen National Forest. Approximately 11 air miles NE of Chester, CA. There are eight mandatory service items. Services include but are not limited to Cut, Skid and Deck Biomass on approximately 978 acres; Haul of Sawlogs; Chipping of Biomass and Hauling of all Chipping Material; Mastication of Brush and Small Trees; Spreading of Windrows; Road Maintenance; and Road Reconstruction. The project includes removal of approximately 26,135 tons of Sawtimber along with an estimated 9,581 tons of Biomass product. Any resultant contract will be a Construction contract with requirements for timber removal. The estimated price range for construction is: between $150,000 and $200,000. Project Location - The Bandit IRSC Stewardship Contract Area is located in T30N R8E Sec. 20-22, 27-34, T29N R8E Sec. 4-6, 8, Mount Diablo Base Meridian. The solicitation package was uploaded on July 9th, 2020. The date of award is expected to be within 60 days after the actual response date, which will be stated in the package and is subject to change with amendments to the solicitation. The contractors are encouraged to visit the site prior to the response date. A prebid meeting on site is scheduled for 07/29/2020.
