Solicitaiton Amendment 2 - Dated 6/10/20 - Revise and replace two solictation documents. -Appendix B and Contract Map Solicitaiton Amendment 1 - Dated 5/14/20 - Revise and replace two solictation documents. The solicitation and any resultant contract will be a stewardship project as authorized in accordance with Section 8205 of Public Law 113-79, the Agricultural Act of 2014 as amended under Section 204 & 207 of the Consolidated Appropriations Act (Omnibus Bill 2018). This project is being advertised for full and open competition. This acquisition has been tailored to fit the Governments need for trading goods for services. The Hugger Project is located on the High Sierra Ranger District of the Sierra National Forest within the Huntington Lake Recreation Area. The Project area is approximately 3,825 acres with treatments on 1,872 acres includes five mandatory contract items and four optional contract items. The stewardship contract includes the following components: mechanical fuel reduction, snag and down wood management, removal of fuels, and/or other product removal. The project includes removal of approximately 1715 CCF of Non-Sawtimber along with road maintenance. Project Location - The Huggr IRSC Stewardship Contract Area is located in Township 8 south, Range 25 east, Sections 1, 2, 10-16, 21 and 22; and Township 8 south, Range 26 east, Sections 4-8, 16-21 of the Mount Diablo Base Meridian. The solicitation package was uploaded May 14th, 2020. The date of award is expected to be within 60 days after the actual response date, which will be stated in the package and is subject to change with amendments to the solicitation. The contractors are encouraged to visit the site prior to the response date. A prebid meeting on site is scheduled for 06/02/2020.
