Description: THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE FOR A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP). Proposals shall only be requested and accepted from contractors who are a Small Business AND certified in System for Award Management (SAM, https://www.sam.gov/SAM/ ). The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), United States Forest Service (USFS), has a requirement for but not limited to the following; The demolition / removal the main dam at Incline Lake, and relocation and placement of this fill material on site approximately 1000 feet northwest of the main dam. In addition, the project includes removal and disposal off site of a concrete spillway for the main dam and other unnatural facilities such as pipelines. Part of the project also involves installation of temporary erosion control measures prior to any grading commencing, and installation of permanent erosion control measures at the main dam, and material disposal site after completion of grading. This contract also includes the protection and preservation of natural resources on National Forest Lands adjacent to Incline Dam resulting from actions takin on this project including but not limited to surface waters, vegetation and insitu native soils. Solicitation Number 129JGP20R0008 for this effort will be posted to Government Point of Entry Beta.Sam (https://beta.sam.gov/) on or about Feb 15th, 2020. This solicitation will contain all necessary specifications, drawings and other information necessary submit a proposal for this project. A site visit will be held approximately 14 days after the official solicitation is posted.
