This solicitation is for the repair of the roof at the Big Bend Fire Garage on the Tahoe National Forest. The work consist of replacing 7 Damaged Roof sections and extend snow bars (snow guard or equivalent) across the roof to the gable ends on the roof, also extend double snow bars near the eaves across the roof to the gable ends. Award will be made using simplified acquisition procedures in accordance with FAR part 13. Due to the Covid-19 travel and meeting restrictions The Government will not be hosting a formal site visit for this project. Offerors or quoters are urged and expected to inspect the site where services are to be performed and to satisfy themselves regarding all general and local conditions that may affect the cost of contract performance, to the extent that the information is reasonably obtainable. In no event shall failure to inspect the site constitute grounds for a claim after contract award. Submit any request for information (RFI's) to robert.briney@usda.gov by 15:00 PST on the 31st of July. Response to RFI's will be posted on or about the 3rd of August.
