DESCRIPTION This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial service item prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Part 12 – Acquisition of Commercial Items, and FAR Part 13 – Simplified Acquisition Procedures, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number 129JGP20Q0016 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The awarded contract will be a firm fixed-price contract. The Inyo National Forest, White Mountain Ranger District, is seeking janitorial services at three locations. This acquisition is a 100% Small Business set-aside. The applicable NAICS code is 561720- Janitorial Services. The corresponding size standard is $19.5 million. LINE ITEMS Line Item 001: White Mtn. Ranger Station Janitorial (12 months) Line Item 002: Mt. Whitney Ranger Station Janitorial (12 months) Line Item 003: Eastern Sierra Visitor Center Janitorial (12 months) DESCRIPTION OF REQUIREMENTS Description of Work: The intent of this contract is to secure janitorial services and routine maintenance services at the White Mountain Ranger Station, Mount Whitney Ranger Station, and the Eastern Sierra Visitor Center on the Inyo National Forest. CONTRACT PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE The period of performance of this contract is from February 1, 2020 through January 31, 2021. INSTRUCTIONS TO OFFERORS/SUBMISSION OF QUOTES All responsible sources may submit an offer which will be considered by the government. Prospective contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) at time the quote is submitted. Lack of registration in the SAM Database will render an offeror ineligible for award. Offerors may obtain information on registration and annual confirmation requirements via the internet at: www.sam.gov Quotes must be received by COB on January 24, 2020 to Gloria Trahey via e-mail at gloria.trahey@usda.gov Quotes can also be mailed to LTBMU, 35 College Drive, South Lake Tahoe, CA 96150. It is your responsibility to confirm that your quote has been received. Quotes will be evaluated on price and past performance. The Contract will be awarded to the offeror whose submittal, in compliance with the solicitation, is the best value to the Government. Please include the following with your quote: Past performance information and technical experience information (complete the Capability Questionnaire or provide same information); Contract pricing (complete the attached Schedule B of Items).
