This is the solicitation for the Metal Roof Crystal Basin project. The project is located in the Pacific District Ranger Station Crystal Basin Compound, it is specifically the Engine Bay Building (approximately 1508 SF) and Fire Cache roof (approximately 387 SF).The project is to remove existing composition shingles roofing and install approximately 20 squares of metal roofing on two buildings and 280 Ln Ft of fascia. The contractor will be responsible for all repairs prior to installing new roof sections and fascia, which will include tightening trim around roof with new nails, where needed. The award will be made using Simplified Acquistion Procedures. The solicitation will be posted on or about the 26th of Sept. A site visit for this project has been scheduled for the 3rd of September 2019 at 12:30 P.M. PST meeting at the Placerville Ranger District Office, 4260 Eight Mile Road, Camino CA. We will caravan from the DO Office to the project site since there is no official address for the actual site. The facility is located at 12N26 Road/Icehouse Road, Pollock Pines, CA.
