The USDA Forest Service, Sequoia National Forest, is seeking to award a Firm Fixed Priced contract for maintenance work on multiple facility buildings in need of varying repairs. The work is comprised of various building roof replacement, remove and reinstall gutter/downspouts; replace siding, remove and repair water damaged kitchen wall and remove and reinstall cabinets counter and sink. Repair subfloor and install vinyl flooring. This acquisition is for a Total Small Business Set?Aside. The Government will only accept qualifications from small business concern. The North American Industry Classification (NAICS) Code is 238160. To be considered a small business under NAICS Code 238160, Roofing Contractors, average annual revenues must be $15 Million or less. The Government intends to award one Firm Fixed-Price contract for building repairs. Estimated Period of performance July 15, 2019 to November 15, 2019. Estimated Magnitude for the subsequent construction project is Between $100,000 and $250,000 LOCATION: . The project sites are located on the Sequoia National Forest at the locations listed below on two districts at three work centers. Five buildings are located at the Fulton Work Center, 9167 Highway 155, in Glenville on the Kern River Ranger District of the Sequoia National Forest. Kern County, CA; Township 25 S., Range 31 E., Section 29. o From Bakersfield travel north and east approximately 42 miles on Chester Ave to Granite Road to Highway 155 through Glenville. Fulton work center is approximately 2 miles east of Glenville. Two buildings are located at Johnsondale Work Center, 01 FS Road 22S10A in Johnsondale, on the Western Divide Ranger District of the Sequoia National Forest. Tulare County, CA; Township 22 S., Range 31 E., Section 35. o From Bakersfield approximately travel 41 miles east on Highway 178 through the Kern Canyon road to Hwy 155 in Lake Isabella. Exit right and follow Hwy 155 to Wofford Heights, then stay straight on Kernville Road to Kernville, then 24 miles on Mountain 99 Highway to Johnsondale. One building is located at the Havilah Work Center, 7333 Caliente-Bodfish Road in Caliente, on the Kern River Ranger District of the Sequoia National Forest, Kern County, CA approximately 11 miles south of Lake Isabella on County Road 483. Kern County, CA; Township 28 South, Range 32 East, Section 10 and 11. o From Bakersfield approximately travel 55 miles east on Highway 178 through the Kern canyon. Exit right on Elizabeth Norris Rd then right on Lake Isabella Blvd. which becomes Bodfish Caliente Rd. The work center is located approx. 11 miles south of Lake Isabella on the Bodfish Caliente Road which continues to State Highway 58 to the South. The solicitation package will be uploaded when ready, approximately June 11, 2019. The date of award is expected to be within 8 days after the actual response date, which will be stated in the package and possibly changed in one or more amendments. The purpose of this notice is to meet the FAR 5.201 and 36.213-2 requirements. It is the contractor's responsibility to monitor the Federal Business Opportunities website for amendments.
