This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for the acquisition of barrier rock, a commercial item, prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation and incorporates provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2019-01 (effective 1/22/2019). It is the contractor's responsibility to be familiar with applicable clauses and provisions. Clauses and provisions can be found at https://www.acquisiton.gov/browse/index/far. Quotations are being requested via this notice only. A written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is 129JGP19Q0098, and the solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The North American Industrial Classifications System (NAICS) is 212319, Other Crushed & Broken Stone Mining & Quarrying, with an associated small business size standard of 500 employees. This solicitation for a supply, is a 100% total small business set-aside, and will result in a firm fixed price contract to a single vendor/contractor determined to be responsive and responsible. Description and Delivery Location: Supply and deliver Barrier Rocks to the Van Horn Pit, Placerville Ranger District, Eldorado National Forest. Needed for delineation of OHV trails and protection of sensitive resources adjacent to trails systems on the Eldorado National Forest. The delivery location for the barrier rocks is the "Van Horn Pit" located at the intersection of Forest Service Road 10N83U and the North-South Road. The Van Horn Pit is approximately 1 mile north of the Capps Crossing Campground on the North South Road. It is located approximately 33 miles from Placerville California. The location can be accessed from Placerville, CA as follows: -Head southwest on main street towards Clay St. 0.1 miles -Turn right on Cedar Ravine Road - 5.7 miles -Turn left onto Pleasant Valley Road - 0.2 miles - Turn right onto Buck's Bar Road - 4.8 miles -Slight right onto Grizzly Flat Road - 12 miles -Slight left onto Sciaroni Road - 0.3 miles -Turn right onto Capps Crossing Road - 8.6 miles -Turn left onto North-South Road - 1.0 miles -Turn Right onto Forest Service Road 10N83U - 0.1 miles - Van Horn Pit is the destination. Line Item 001: 4'x4'x4' barrier rock, quantity 250, delivered. Period of Performance: 10 days after award, with estimated 10 working days transporting and offloading at Van Horn Pit.
