CANCELLATION NOTICE This requirement has been cancelled due to budget constraints SOLICITATION NOTICE Requirement: Work consists of surfacing aggregate, linear grading, and culvert replacement on roads within the Storrie Fire area designated on the drawings and in the worklists along with traffic control and dust abatement. Existing government furnished aggregate stockpile of 1” minus roadway surfacing aggregate (Approximately 9,513 tons or 5,436 cubic yards to be used for contract) is available at the Scotts John Quarry, as shown on the Vicinity Map, for the contractor’s use. The contractor shall provide a loader and will be responsible for loading trucks. Location: The project is located on the Almanor Ranger District of the Lassen National Forest, Butte County, California. From Redding California - Take I-5 south towards Red Bluff/Sacramento for 29 miles. Take CA-36 towards central Red Bluff for 2.8 miles to CA-99 South. Take CA-99 for 37.5 miles. Take exit 385 for CA-32 towards Chester for 42 miles. Take CA-32E for 26.8 miles and take a right onto Humboldt Road for 11.7 miles where you will keep right onto Jonesville Road (FSR26N27) for 3.5 miles. Turn right onto FSR 26N27B. The pit is located approximately 0.4 miles from this intersection. Estimated Magnitude (Price Range): Between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00 Contract Time: It is estimated the project will start within 10 days of Notice to Proceed and be completed within 60. Estimated start is as soon as possible after award. Set Asides: This procurement is being solicited as a small business set-aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 237310. The related small business size standard is $39.5M. Solicitation Info: Solicitation is being conducted under FAR Part 13 and 36. All responsible sources may submit a quote, which shall be considered. Site Visit: A formal site visit will not be held. Prospective Quoters are urged to visit the site on their own. Bonds: A bid guarantee will be required only if your quote is over $150,000. In addition there is a requirement for performance and/or payment protections (performance bond and/or payment bond or Irrevocable Letter of Credit (ILC)). If quote is between $35,000 and $150,000, payment bond or ILC will be required for 100% of the award price and be submitted within 10 days after contract award. If quote is over $150,000, payment bond and performance bond or ILC will be required for 100% of the award price and be submitted within 10 days after contract award. Inquiries: Any prospective bidder desiring an explanation or interpretation of the solicitation, drawings, specifications, etc., must request it in writing, not later than 5 calendar before the closing date, to allow a reply to reach all prospective Quoters before submission of their quote. Oral explanations or instructions given before the award of a contract will not be binding. In no event shall failure to inspect the site constitute grounds for a claim after contract award.
