SOLICITATION POSTING Requirement: Construction of two non-potable water wells for future development into stockwatering and fire engine fill systems. The principal features of work to be performed include, but is not limited to the following: 1.Securing new water well permits; 2.Drilling and constructing new water wells; and 3.Completion of well yield tests on the Hat Creek Ranger District of the Lassen National Forest Location: The project work is located at two sites on the Hat Creek Ranger District of the Lassen National Forest. - The Big Lake site is located 50 miles southeast of Fall River Mills, California at 40°38’00.04”N and 121°37’46.45”W via roads CA-299W, CA-89S, Battle Cr Rd, 32N44Y, and 32N18 adjacent to Big Lake. - Proctor Creek is located 13 miles south of Fall River Mills, California at40°50’53.13”N and 121°23’35.92”W via roads CA-299W, Cassel Fall River Rd,36N18, and 35N14. Estimated Magnitude (Price Range): between $25,000 and $100,000 Contract Time: It is estimated the project will start on or about Aug 2020 and be completed within 60 calendar days. Set Asides: This procurement is being solicited as a small business set-aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 237110. The related small business size standard is $39.5 million. Solicitation Info: Solicitation is being conducted under FAR Part 13. All responsible sources may submit a quote, which shall be considered. Site Visit/Pre-Quote Conference: No organized site visit is being scheduled as the site is readily accessible. Bonds: If quote is between $35,000 and $100,000, payment bond or ILC will be required for 100% of the award price and be submitted within 10 days after contract award. Inquiries: Any prospective quoter desiring an explanation or interpretation of the solicitation, drawings, specifications, etc., must request it in writing soon enough to allow a reply to reach all prospective bidders before submission of their quotes. Oral explanations or instructions given before the award of a contract will not be binding. In no event shall failure to inspect the site constitute grounds for a claim after contract award.
