Requirement: to widen the last 100 ft of ramp from 15 ft.to 30 ft. and resurface/overlay the last 100 ft of Trinity Center Boat Ramp at Trinity Lake. Stations 5+20 to 6+20. This includes a 6-inch-thick, 8 ft. wide concrete boarding float sidewalk which integrates 100 ft of steel fabricated rail system into it. (Govt. provided property). Other work includes removing the temporary transition ramp at the end of new concrete ramp and installing Class V keyed riprap with Geotextile separator on each side of the boat ramp and at the end. In addition, an option item exists for the installation of a cofferdam for dewatering with line items for two different sizes, 6ft. high or 3ft. high. The project is located on the Shasta Trinity National Forest. To access the project, from Weaverville, take Highway 3 North for approximately 30 miles to Trinity Center. Turn right and follow signs to boat ramp. Estimated Magnitude (Price Range): Between $250,000 and $500,000.00 Contract Time: It is estimated the project will start around November 16, 2020 and be completed within 120 days or on or about February 20, 2021. Set Aside: This procurement is being solicited as a small business set-aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 237310. The related small business size standard is $39.5M. Solicitation Info: Solicitation is being conducted under FAR Part 14. All responsible sources may submit a bid, which shall be considered. The anticipated posting of this solicitation is on or about October 8, 2020. Site Visit: A formal site visit will not be held. Prospective bidders are urged to visit the site on their own. Bonds: A Bid guarantee is required with the bid. Performance and Payment Bonds in the amount of 100% of the contract price will be required of the successful contractor within 10 days of award.
