PRESOLICITATION The project requires the furnish of all labor, equipment, transportation, supplies and materials to replace the HVAC system in the Engine Bay/Fire Station at the Hat Creek Work Center; the main office building at the Hat Creek Lake Ranger Station; and replace two HVAC units at the Eagle Ranger Station. Remove one HVAC unit at the Old Station Visitor Center. Replace a thermostat on HVAC system at Almanor Ranger Station on the Lassen National Forest. Project Location: Hat Creek Work Center - located in Shasta County, California at 17696 Hwy 89, Hat Creek, CA 96040 Hat Creek Ranger Station - located in Shasta County, California at 43225 East Hwy 299, Fall River Mills, CA 96028 Eagle Lake Ranger Station - located in Lassen County, California at 477-050 Eagle Lake Road, Susanville, CA 96130 Old Station Visitor Center - located in Shasta County, California at 13435 Brian's Way (Hwy 44/89), Old Station, CA 96071 Almanor Ranger Station - located in Plumas County, California at 900 East Hwy 36, Chester, CA 96020 Estimated Magnitude: Between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00 Contract Time: An estimated 30 days per location with work to begin as soon as possible after award. Set Asides: This procurement is being solicited as a small business set-aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 238220. The related small business size standard is $15.0 million. Solicitation Info: Solicitation is being conducted under FAR Part 13. All responsible sources may submit a bid, which shall be considered. The anticipated posting of this solicitation is on or about July 10, 2019. Site Visit/Pre-proposal Conference: An organized site visit is scheduled for Thursday, July 18 2019 at 1000 at the Hat Creek Work Center, 17696 Hwy 89, Hat Creek CA. This is the only location that will be visited as an organized visit. All other locations may be visited on your own. If quote is over $35,000.00 a payment bond will be required of the successful contractor within 10 days of award. Inquiries: Any prospective quoter desiring an explanation or interpretation of the solicitation, drawings, specifications, etc., must request it in writing soon enough to allow a reply to reach all prospective bidders before submission of their bids.
