**PLEASE READ: THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE. NO OTHER INFORMATION IS AVAILABLE UNTIL THE SOLICITATION IS ISSUED ON THE DATE IDENTIFIED BELOW** Solicitation Documents: The solicitation will be issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) requiring both price and technical proposals responding to evaluation criteria described in the solicitation. Documents will only be available electronically to download from this website on or about June 3, 2019. Description: The intent for this contract is for the labor equipment and materials necessary to repair the generator building at the Sawyers Bar Work Center due to damage from a fallen tree. Work includes the replacement of two prime power generators. Unless otherwise provided, the Contractor shall furnish all labor, transportation, equipment, tools, supervision, materials and any incidentals necessary to accomplish work on the Klamath National Forest. The contractor shall carefully examine the existing conditions and information, shall become familiar with the nature and location of the work, the conformation of the ground slopes and terrain, the nature of the soil and subsoil conditions, nature and extent of the materials that will be encountered during the construction operations and any existing site conditions that may affect the project, prior to the beginning of work. Location: This project is located at the Sawyers Bar Work Center on the Klamath National Forest. Price Range: $100,000 - $250,000 Estimated Start Date: August 15, 2019 Contract Completion Time: 60 calendar days after Notice to Proceed Set-Aside: This project is 100% set aside for small business concerns. Bonds: A Bid guarantee may not be required with the quote. Performance and Payment Bonds in the amount of 100% of the contract price may be required of the successful contractor within 10 days of award. Specific requirements will be stated in the solicitation. Response Location: Offers will be accepted at the Northern California Acquisition Service Area, Redding Office, located within the Shasta-Trinity National Forest Headquarters at 3644 Avtech Parkway, Redding, CA 96002 NO LATER than date and time indicate on the solicitation. SAM REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS: Prospective contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) prior to award. SAM.gov registration is FREE!
