The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after the closing date. In the event the Government cancels this solicitation, the Government has no obligation to reimburse a quoter for any costs. Requirement: Delivery of approximately 20,000 cubic yards of government furnished ¾" aggregate that will be wind rowed for spreading by the government. Project Location: The project is located on the Almanor Ranger District of the Lassen National Forest, Butte County, California. From Redding California - Take I-5 south towards Red Bluff/Sacramento for 29 miles. Take CA-36 towards central Red Bluff for 2.8 miles to CA-99 South. Take CA-99 for 37.5 miles. Take exit 385 for CA-32 towards Chester for 42 miles. Take CA-32E for 26.8 miles and take a right onto Humboldt Road for 11.7 miles where you will keep right onto Jonesville Road (FSR26N27) for 3.5 miles. Turn right onto FSR 26N27B. The pit is located approximately 0.4 miles from this intersection. Latitude: 40° 6'7.88"N Longitude: 121°25'46.42"W Approximate location of roads the government furnished material is to be delivered to is represented in the vicinity map of the project drawings and the general area is east of Butte Meadows, California. Set Asides: This procurement is being solicited as a small business set-aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 484220. The related small business size standard is $27.5M. Solicitation Info: Solicitation is being conducted under FAR Part 12. All responsible sources may submit a quote, which shall be considered. The anticipated posting of this solicitation is on or about March 25, 2019. Site Visit: An organized site visit is not being scheduled. Inquiries: Any prospective contractor with contractual or technical questions of the solicitation, drawings, specifications, etc., must request it in writing from the Contracting Officer not later than 5 calendar days before the quotes are due to allow a reply to reach all prospective contractors before the solicitation closing date. Oral explanations or instructions given before the award of a contract will not be binding.
