This is a Combined Synopsis/Solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 and procedures of FAR Subpart 13.5 and supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The U.S. Forest Service, Pacific Southwest Region (5), is soliciting proposals for the work requirement at Angeles National Forest for fuels reduction/modification, fuels removal, timber stand improvement and related work on approximately 190 acres to be performed in compliance to the contract terms, specifications and provisions. The Contractor shall furnish labor; equipment; supervision; transportation (including but not limited to mobilization); operating supplies and incidentals (including but not limited to all water and all registered Annosus Root Disease prevention compound necessary for contract operations). The solicitation is 100% - 8(a) competitive set-aside. The North American Industry Classification System [NAICS] code for this acquisition is 115310 with the Size Standard of $19M in annual revenue. The awarded contract will be Firm-Fixed-Price. The Request for Quotation is issued 26 February 2019. The date and time for receipt of quotes is 26 March 2019, 3pm Pacific Standard Time [PST]. Responses to technical questions will be posted to FBO in the form on a solicitation amendment. Contractors/vendors MUST be registered in the System for Award Management [SAM] system PRIOR to submitting the proposal and/or by the proposal due date. The System for Award Management [SAM] is a Federal Government-owned and operated web site, free for public use, and consolidates the capabilities of CCR, ORCA, and EPLS.
