The United States Forest Service (USFS) is seeking quotations for the supply and installation of reinforced polypropylene lines to three (3) existing well ponds at three (3) separate locations within the Lassen National Forest, California, as per the specifications. The USFS intends to conduct this acquisition by use of simplified acquisition procedures in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13. A single contract award will be made to the offeror that submits a quotation that has been determined to represent the best value to the Government based on as assessment of (1) Technical/Management Approach, (2) Past Performance, and (3) Price. This allows the Government to accept other than the lowest priced quote. The Government may perform a comparative evaluation (comparing offers to each other) to select the contractor that provides the best value, considering the evaluation factors in this solicitation.

The Forest Service intends to award one (1) Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) contract resulting from this solicitation. The US Department of Agriculture, Forest Service intends to conduct this acquisition by use of simplified acquisition procedures in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13. A single contract award will be made to the offeror that submits a quotation that has been determined to represent the best value to the Government.
