This is Amendment 0002 to the combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; offers are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The survey shall provide site-specific data for the Forest Service to locate and identify cultural resources in the project area(s). The Contractor shall furnish all necessary personnel, facilities, equipment, materials, and transportation to perform the work described herein. The contractor’s qualified archaeologist with at least five years crew lead experience, identified in the proposal, shall personally supervise all phases of the contract, including field investigations. The Project Area is located on the east side of the Klamath National Forest (KNF) in Siskiyou County, CA. See Schedule and Project Maps for total acres requiring complete heritage resource inventory and USGS topographic locations. Surveys shall not be conducted on private land.
