AMENDMENT 0002 - The purpose of this amendment is to extend the closing date of solicitation from July 29, 2022 to August 2, 2022 and to attach the revised D6 - Section A Cont - SOI - Fillable Excel Amd 2 to add the assumed number of previously recorded sites and newly recorded sites for this project. AMENDMENT 0001 - The purpose of this amendment is to remove references to the SF-1449 that was included in the combined synopsis/solicitation. The SF-1449 is NOT required for quote submittal. Please use Attachment D6 - Section A Cont - SOI - Fillable Excel for your proposed cost. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; offers are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The contractor shall conduct a heritage resource inventory within “Survey Needs” polygons for identified Project Area(s). The Contractor shall record all new prehistoric and historical resources located within the “Survey Needs” polygons within the project area. The contractor shall visit previously recorded sites and update existing site records. The survey shall provide site-specific data for the Forest Service to locate and identify cultural resources in the project area(s). The Contractor shall furnish all necessary personnel, facilities, equipment, materials, and transportation to perform the work described herein. The contractor’s qualified archaeologist with at least five years crew lead experience, identified in the proposal, shall personally supervise all phases of the contract, including field investigations.
