This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation number is 12925519Q0003 and is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This solicitation and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular 2019-02. This soliciation is set aside for Small Business entities and the NAICS code is 332311. Small business size standard is 750 employees. All interested/responsible small business sources may submit a quote to carlee.wehrsig@usda.gov which will be reviewed and considered by the agency. The USDA ARS Daniel K Inouye Pacific Basin Agricultural Reserach Center in Hilo, Hawaii is interested in obtaining quotes for the following: (2) Greenhouse 30' wide x 36' long x with 10' under gutter height (2) Arch Greenhouse 24' wide x 60' long x 72' side wall **See specifications attached. Final destination shipping/offloading delivery must be included in your price. All quotes should be submitted in accorance with FAR Provisions 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors- Commercial Items. The basis for award is Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA). Therefore, FAR Provision 52.212-2 Evaluation- Commercial Items Applies. Far Clauses 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions- Commercial Items & 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders- Commercial Items is also applicable to this acquisition.
