This announcement and associated attachments constitute the entire and only solicitation. Proposals are hereby requested via this notice and an additional solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation no. 1291S820R0006 is issued as a Request for Proposal [RFP]. This acquisition is 100% set-aside for small businesses. The North American Industry Classification System [NAICS] code for this acquisition is 541690 with small business size of $16.5M in annual revenue. The awarded contract will be firm-fixed-price. The USDA Forest Service, San Bernardino National Forest, San Jacinto Ranger District has a work requirement for Habitat Assessments and Protocol Occupancy Surveys for the Quino checkerspot butterfly. The requirement is for critical field work to be completed in the 2020 flight season for the Quino checkerspot butterfly (Quino), by a qualified technical expert. This information will be used by the San Bernardino National Forest [BDF] for project planning and for contributing the long-term dataset of occupancy and reproduction of this species on the Forest. Options are included to conduct the assessments and survey for the 2021-2024 season(s). The effort in future options years will be comparable to the survey days required to complete the base period (2020) work. Contract period of performance is one (1) base year/period with four (4) one-year options. Performance is required to begin March 1, 2020.
