This is a Combined Synopsis/Solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 and FAR 13 and supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The U.S. Forest Service, Pacific Southwest Region (5), is soliciting quotes for brand specific land surveying equipment. The contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, services, tools, equipment, materials, supplies, and incidentals necessary to perform the work identified in the schedule of supplies and must be an authorized dealer of the Trimble, if not directly respecting the OEM manufacture. This is a total 100% small business set aside. The North American Industry Classification System [NAICS] code for this acquisition is 423490. The awarded contract will be Firm-Fixed-Price. The Request for Quotation [RFQ] is issued 14 May 2019. The date and time for receipt of quotes is 21 May 2019, 5pm Pacific Standard Time [PST]. Quotes shall be submitted electronically by email ONLY. No hardcopy proposals will be accepted. Email quotes to the Contracting Officer, Alicia Hawkins, at Alicia.hawkins@usda.gov, by the published due date. Contractors/vendors MUST be registered in the System for Award Management [SAM] system PRIOR to submitting the proposal and/or by the proposal due date. The System for Award Management [SAM] is a Federal Government-owned and operated web site, free for public use, and consolidates the capabilities of CCR, ORCA, and EPLS. Interested parties are hereby notified that the solicitation is available exclusively on the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps, FBO) website, www.fbo.gov. The solicitation, attachments, and amendments will be published for viewing, printing, and downloading from the FBO website only. It is the potential offeror's responsibility to monitor FBO for the release of additional information or amendments. No hardcopy/paper versions of the solicitation or amendments will be distributed. All prospective bidders are responsible for visiting Federal Business Opportunities frequently and obtaining any amendments or other information pertaining to the solicitation.
