Extend the proposal submission due date to 3:00 PM EST on July 16, 2025. ### ***AMENDMENT 0001*** (See attached SF30) The purpose of this amendment is to provide a copy of the Site Visit Sign-In Sheet (see attached); ### The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Agricultural Research Service (ARS) U.S. Salinity Laboratory (USSL) requires that all labor, supervision, tools, and materials be provided for disconnect and removal of the existing evaporative cooler, chiller, cooling tower and pumps. Install new breakers in existing switchboard and provide two new chillers and all related appurtenant devices, and incidental related work. All work shall be performed in accordance with the specifications, drawings, and other attachments for this requirement. The project is located at USDA, ARS, USSL at 450 W Big Springs Road, Riverside, CA 92507. Magnitude of Construction Project is $500,000 to $1,000,000. SITE VISIT: A single organized site visit has been scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Pacific Time on Wednesday June 11, 2025. See clause L.6 Site Visit for more information and RSVP instructions.

Type of Notice: Pre-Solicitation Notice Title: RFP #12905B25R0012 – Chiller Replacement at US Salinity Lab (USSL)(Riverside, CA) Description: THIS IS AN INFORMATIONAL NOTICE ONLY The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Agricultural Research Service (ARS) U.S. Salinity Laboratory (USSL) requires that all labor, supervision, tools, and materials be provided for disconnect and removal of the existing evaporative cooler, chiller, cooling tower and pumps. The project is located at USDA, ARS, USSL at 450 W Big Springs Road, Riverside, CA 92507. All work shall be performed in accordance with the attached draft documents. The Contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, materials, supplies, transportation and supervision performing all required work in accordance with the plans and specifications for this requirement. In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 36.204 the magnitude of this construction project is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. USDA will issue a Firm Fixed Price Construction Contract. The Request for Proposal (RFP), 12905B25R0012, may be issued on or around May 20, 2025. The requirement will be a Total Small Business Set-Aside, under NAICS Code 238220 - Plumbing, Heating, and Air-Conditioning Contractors, with a size standard of $19M. Completion timeframe for the resulting contract is to be determined. The RFP will be accessible via https://sam.gov/ in the “Contracting Opportunities” section. Potential Offerors are responsible for monitoring this site for release of the RFP package and any amendments. All offerors shall be registered with the System for Award Management Registration per FAR Clause 52.204-7 and 52.204-8.
