Type of Notice: Pre-Solicitation Notice Title: RFP # 12905B24Q0207 – Clinic Floor replacement, Ames, IA Description: The USDA, NCAH at 1920 Dayton Avenue, Ames, IA has an onsite clinic within Building 20. The carpet tile floor in the hallway, waiting room, and administrative areas of this clinic is aging and needs replacement. This project will replace the carpet tile flooring with vinyl composite tiles in these areas. THIS IS AN INFORMATIONAL NOTICE ONLY The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Agricultural Research Service (ARS), Pacific West Area Office has a construction requirement for clinic floor replacement at MWA NATIONAL ANIMAL DISEASE CENTER, Ames, IA. The Contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, materials, supplies, transportation and supervision performing all required work in accordance with the plans and specifications for this requirement. In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 36.204 the magnitude of this construction project is between $25,000 and $100,000 USDA will issue a Firm Fixed Price Construction Contract. The Request for Quote (RFQ), 12905B24Q0207, may be issued on or around August 9, 2024 The requirement will be unrestricted, under NAICS Code 238330 with a size standard of $19,000,000. Information concerning the REE policies and procedures regarding the definitization of equitable adjustments for change orders under construction contracts and the time required for definitization of those actions per 15 U.S.C. 644 is available at https://www.ars.usda.gov/afm/apd/acquisitions/.
