All work shall be done in accordance with (IAW) the terms and conditions, drawings, statement of work (SOW) and other attachments set forth in the RFQ. IAW FAR 36.204 the estimated magnitude of this project is between $100,000 and $250,000. Completion shall be 180 days after issuance of the notice to proceed (NTP) Dept. of Labor General Decisions #UT20240082 and UT20240105 dated 01/05/2024 is applicable to this contract. CONTRACT OPPORTUNITIES Type of Notice: Pre-Solicitation Notice Title: (RFQ #12905B24Q0042) – Upgrade Animal Holding Facilities Complex Description: THIS IS AN INFORMATIONAL NOTICE ONLY The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Agricultural Research Service (ARS), Pacific West Area Office has a construction requirement for upgrading the animal facilities complex at the Poisonous Plant Research Laboratory 1150 E 1400 N Logan, UT 84322. The Contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, materials, supplies, transportation and supervision performing all required work in accordance with the plans and specifications for this requirement. In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 36.204 the magnitude of this construction project is between $100,000 and $250,000. USDA will issue a Firm Fixed Price Construction Contract. The Request for Quotation (RFQ), 12905B24Q0042, may be issued on or around 15 days after the closing date of this notice. The requirement will be a total small business set-aside, under NAICS Code 238990 with a size standard of $19.0M. Completion timeframe for the resulting contract is to be determined. The RFQ will be accessible via https://sam.gov/ in the “Contracting Opportunities” section. Potential Offerors are responsible for monitoring this site for release of the RFQ package and any amendments. All offerors shall be registered with the System for Award Management Registration per FAR Clause 52.204-7 and 52.204-8.
