This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the procedures contained in FAR Part 12.6, Acquisition of Commercial Items, and FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. ii. Description/Statement of Work/Specification: United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Agricultural Research Service (ARS), Pacific West Area (PWA), Columbia Plateau Conservation Research Center has a requirement for a Diesel Backup Generator, 150kW, 3 Ph, 120/208V and Service Entrance Transfer Switch, 800A/1000A, or equivalent, for its facility located at Pendleton, OR.
