The solicitation number is 12905B20Q0004 and is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 561710. Solicitation is a 100% total small business set aside and only qualified offerors may submit quotations. Requirement: USDA, ARS, PWA, located at 800 Buchanan Street, Albany, CA 94710 has a requirement for a part-time Pesticide Applicator to work with: Pesticide Advisor: Lia Poasas Email: poasas@berkeley.edu on a weekly basis normally on Tuesday’s (time of day in the afternoon agreed upon with the pesticide advisor). The task is usually completed within 3 hours to 4 hours. No more than 4 hours per week. No more than 208 hours per year. (4 hours * 52 weeks = 208 hours). In the event two or more offerors within the competitive range are considered essentially equal in terms of technical competence, the Government reserves the right to award to the offeror with the lowest realistic price. FAR 15.101-2 The Government may elect to conduct discussions with offerors whose quotes are technically acceptable (or which may be expected to be made acceptable by moderate modification) and fall within the competitive price range. The Government reserves the right, however, to award a purchase order based on initial offers without conducting discussions. GSA contract schedule holders are able to offer one-time discounts from established Schedule contracts. This provision allows the contractor to offer and the government to avail itself of spot pricing in the commercial market.
