This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The solicitation number is 12905B19P0148 and is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ), unless otherwise indicated herein. Clauses & Provisions are attached and will be incorporated in the resulted award/order. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 325413. This requirement is a Small Business set-aside and only qualified offerors may submit quotes. USDA ARS intends to award a Firm Fixed Purchase Order (PO) to the lowest price, technically acceptable, for continuity of required services & research data. This order attains Ascites Production Services in support of the ongoing research at USDA ARS, Western Regional Research Center (WRRC), Foodborne Toxin Detection & Prevention (FTDP), Albany, CA. The Firm Fixed PO will include the following: 1. 34 HYBRIDOMA CELL LINES FOR ASCITES PRODUCTION: 25 BALB/C MOUSE PRODUCTION RUNS PER HYBRIDOMA CELL LINE USDA ARS, WRRC, FTDP research has an essential requirement for 34 hybridoma cell lines that need ascites production. They would need 25 mice per hybridoma cell line and do not need any protein A/G purification. Please include in the quote, description of the service to be rendered, bulk discounts if applicable, and any shipping & handling. Interested vendors should reference the solicitation documents for all terms & conditions. All interested parties are responsible for monitoring this website to ensure they have the most current information (i.e. Amendments) for the solicitation. No paper solicitation will be available.
