The purpose of this contract is to secure long-line helicopter transport service of bridge materials in the Fitzpatrick Wilderness on the Wind River Ranger District of the Shoshone National Forest. The bridge to be transported is a "packable bridge" and will be disassembled for transport. Materials can be slung into the drop-off location in any configuration. The largest single piece of material is 8' x 2.5" x 15" and approximately 105 lbs. The total weight of the bridge is 10,500 pounds and the total weight of abutment materials and associated supplies is 9,880 pounds. See attachments for dimensions of individual pieces. The project is located on the Wind River Ranger District of the Shoshone National Forest near Dubois, Wyoming.
