Pre-Solicitation Notice for Solicitation No. 12853820R0001 The Bighorn National Forest intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) to award a single, firm-fixed price contract for Approximately 5.27 miles of Forest Trail Improvements/Restoration of five (5) sections of the Bucking Mule Falls Trail No. 53. Work includes Mobilization, Excavation, Trail Restoration, Drain Dip(s), Puncheon Maintenance, Removal of old Puncheon (Decking, Material, Curb) Removal of Log Water bars. The RFP also will include additive items for up to 10 sections of Trail. Project is located in Johnson County, Wyoming. Approximately 35 miles east of the town of Lovell Wyoming off of Hwy 14A, with an additional 10 mile down Devils Canyon Road to the Bucking Mule Falls Trailhead. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 237990 with a size standard of $39.5 million. Project is a total Small Business Set-Aside. Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, supplies, and incidentals and perform all required work in accordance to the terms, conditions, specifications, and provisions of the contract. All responsible quoters will be considered for award of this project. Contractors must be registered in the System for award Management (SAM.gov now Beta.SAM) to be eligible for award. Bighorn NF anticipates a solicitation will be advertised on or before March 16, 2020
