This project consists of constructing an office addition of approximately 3,225 square feet to the existing Flaming Gorge Ranger District office. The facility is located in Manila, Utah on property owned by the Ashley National Forest. The project includes some site demolition, disposal and preparation for new construction. There is minor selective building demolition of a concrete stair, railing and siding on the existing building. The contract includes the construction of an addition to the west that will be connected by a breezeway and planter between the existing building and building addition. The additional office space houses a new conference room, break area, open office areas, two single offices, hallways, bathrooms, mechanical room, and telecom room. The project includes installation of HVAC systems, toilets, urinal, drinking fountain, sinks, lavatories piping, electrical panels, wiring, lighting, outlets, and telecommunications. Exterior work includes the construction of a new concrete entry, landscaping, irrigation, and exterior site elements. Solicitation Schedule (this schedule is an estimate only, please refer to the Solicitation Package when it is posted to this website for firm dates): Posting of Complete Solicitation with Attachments to FBO: January 4, 2019 Project Site Visit: Mid-January, 2019 (firm date will be in solicitation package) Proposals Due Date: February 12, 2019 It is ANTICIPATED that the project will start in mid March 2019 (depending on the date the award is made, weather and site conditions). Contract time: 270 Calendar Days PLEASE NOTE: Proposals will be required to be mailed, shipped or hand delivered to Loa, Utah. Faxed or E-mailed offers will not be accepted. Offers that are received after the closing date and time for submittal will be rejected. DO NOT count on overnight delivery to Loa, Utah! If using the postal service or a shipping service, offerors should anticipate multiple days for delivery. January 17, 2019 ***POSTING OF SOLICITATION PACKAGE*** The entire solicitation package is being posted to the FBO website. ***NOTICE*** Due to the Federal Government Shutdown, dates for submittal of questions, a site visit or submittal of proposals have not been established. The solicitation package is being posted so that offerors may review the project requirements, drawings and specifications. Offerors will be required to continually monitor the FBO.gov website for an amendment to this solicitation that will provide information on dates to submit questions regarding this project, the scheduled site visit date and time, and the date and time that proposals will be due. Be advised that once resolution of the Federal Government Shutdown has occurred, it is anticipated that the site visit will be scheduled to take place within one to two weeks of resumption of regular government work; the proposal due date is anticipated to be scheduled approximately two weeks after the site visit. This is tentative information only and is subject to change. Additionally, the Response Date of February 12, 2019 that is reflected in this FBO posting IS NOT CORRECT. The response date will be corrected when the amendment detailed above is posted.
