The USDA Forest Service currently occupies approximately 4,985 rentable square feet of garage/storage space under a lease that will be expiring. The Government has a continuing need for leased space and while the current facility will continue to meet our needs, information received in response to this advertisement will be used to assist with determining whether to remain in the existing location or to consider alternative locations that can satisfy the Government’s requirements and being economically advantageous to compete the lease requirement. In making this determination, the Government will consider, among other things, the availability of alternative space and locations, costs likely to be incurred with relocating such as physical move costs, replication of any tenant improvements, non-productive downtime, and the impact to the agency. Pending a capital lease analysis, the anticipated lease term is 20 years, 15 years firm. Offered space must meet Government requirements for fire safety, accessibility, seismic and sustainability standards. Location shall not be located in a 100 year floodplain and space must be available no later than October 23, 2021. All services and required improvements shall be provided as part of the rental consideration. THIS IS ONLY AN INQUIRY AS TO THE AVAILABILITY OF SPACE FOR PLANNING PURPOSES AND IS NOT TO BE CONSTRUED AS A REQUEST FOR LEASE PROPOSAL (RLP).
