The Rocky Mountain Region requires aerial surveyors for the 2026 season with expertise in western forest pests, forest types, GPS/GIS, and aviation. The contractor will aerially map tree mortality and damage in a government-provided aircraft, using a provided tablet with a specific mapping application. Work may be conducted alongside a Forest Service representative or independently, depending on the contractor's qualifications as a Fixed Wing Flight Manager.
