This solicitation is for drinking water sampling for bacteriological analysis (total coliform) and nitrate/nitrite analysis for the Rio Grande National Forest. The contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, supervison, supplies, and incidentals to perform all work specified. The Contractor shall comply with all Code of Colorado Regulations. The Laboratory must maintain state certification and use certified analytical methods. Bacteriological drinking water analysis reports shall be provided via email within 2 business days of arrival at the laboratory. The laboratory will also be responsible for submitting the results of the analyses to the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment. In the instance that the laboratory is not within commuting distance from the Forest Service office located at 1803 West Hwy 160 Monte Vista, CO 81144, the burden will be on the laboratory to provide mailing envelopes for the samples to be sent and received overnight. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice.
