The purpose of this solicitation is to secure services for insecticide application at the Quartz Campground on Superior Ranger District. The campground is located xx miles west of Superior, Montana, along Interstate 90, and is a flat to gently sloping forested area of 58 acres: Carbaryl insecticide applied as a basal spray to control bark beetles on up to 2,900 ponderosa pine throughout the campground. Trees are approximately 80 to 110 feet tall. One treatment, prior to June beetle flight, will be required. The total number of trees treated will not exceed 2,900 trees.
