The work objective is to gather and pile slash and debris meeting the following description for “Material to be Piled” in such manner that will provide for complete and unattended combustion of the piles with relatively minor effort of ignition. This work may occur on slopes up to 45% and on rocky terrain. Some of the worksites could have portions of ground that will be declared unpliable due to excessively steep slopes, wet or rocky surfaces, or light fuel loadings. Piles will have no significant quantities of soil mixed with material that would impede free combustion. The size classes of material to be piled, the approximate dimensions of the piles and the approximate percentages of material to be piled and to be left laying on the worksites are as described.
